Accessibility On-board
Kenai Fjords Tours own and operate a total of 9 vessels. These vessels are homeported in Seward, Alaska. Each of our non-smoking vessels features outdoor viewing decks, heated cabins, large fog-free picture windows, and clean restrooms.
Our boats range in size from 83' to 96'. All of the vessels in the fleet are categorized as "T" boats by the USCG, meaning that they are small passenger vessels under 100 gross tons and they carry a maximum of 150 passengers for hire.
Accessibility Features of our vessels:
- One handicap-accessible restroom available on all vessels
- Catamaran vessels feature accessible interior and exterior decks that wheelchair dependent passengers can access.
- Vessels include dedicated tables for wheelchair-dependent passengers
- Electric Scooters will not fit any vessel
- Service animals are welcome onboard and must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered while in public places unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work or the person's disability prevents use of these devices. Emotional support animals, pets and other animals not covered by ADA guidelines are not permitted.
- Employees are available upon request to help take guests down to the docks and safely board the vessel.
- 2-hour paid public accessible parking is available in front of the Kenai Fjords Tours check-in office.*
